The various Brainstorming Seminars were organised by the Oxford Institute for Energy Studies and examined trends in the energy industries globally and their likely economic impact on the international economy.  The Foundation provided grants to experts from various Chinese government departments, financial institutions and academic organizations to participate in these seminars. The grants were intended to enable Chinese experts to network and develop dialogues with leading international energy experts and economists.
