The Foundation was the main sponsor of an International Forum on Innovation organised by the Technology and Management Centre for Development, University of Oxford. The objectives of the Forum are to: (i) drive growth and address challenges in the UK-China cooperation on innovation; (ii) nurture UK-China cooperation in innovation for global leadership; (iii) develop innovation strategies for new technology, new economy and shared growth; and (iv) strengthen ties between China and the UK in order to drive greater cooperation in innovation between the two countries. The Forum was held in London in November 2017, during the UK-China High-Level People to People Dialogue.
