In June 2016, the State Council issued the ‘Opinions on Establishing a Fair Competition Review System in the Construction of the Market System’, which requires various policy-making departments to review eliminate any existing and proposed anti-competitive policies.  In this context, the Beijing Cairncross Economic Research Foundation organized experts, scholars, and officials in the field of competition policy at home and abroad to conduct research on this issue. Based on the experience and lessons of the OECD (Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development), the European Union’s single market  policies and state aid control system, and developed economies such as the United Kingdom and the United States in the field of fair competition, this book takes account of China's current realities and future development to propose measures for a more effective implementation of China's fair competition review system. This book, published by CITIC Press in 2019, contains the study’s Main Report and all the background reports prepared by Chinese and international experts for the study.  The main report and all background reports in English can be downloaded in this website.
