It is really a precious experience for me taking part in Oxford summer school program. I got the opportunity to feel the academic atmosphere and daily life abroad, which greatly broadens my horizon. I will endeavor to devote what I have learned to my hometown's development.

I hope that I could further study  economics, to get certain achievements in  institutional economics, so that I could be able to work with the government departments of my hometown to provide constructive solutions for the economic policy decision-making and to promote local development which also contributes to narrowing the gap between the rich and the poor.

The trip to Oxford is over, but what I saw and heard this month is deeply branded in my mind. After experiencing the British humanistic environment and their attitudes towards life, I suddenly realized that different outlooks on life and values have a very important impact on people's well-being. Such comfortable living atmosphere as well as positive attitude towards life is what the modern fast-paced urban life lacks of, but also I yearn for. For the first time, I had the idea of becoming a teacher to teach and educate people, not only to impart knowledge to children, but also to cultivate their positive and optimistic attitude towards life. We should not only strive for a living, but also for happiness.

The UK trip inspired new ideas about my future. Maybe what I can do is not only being employed by a company. Through hard working, perhaps I could be one of the facilitators of Anhui's development.  Someday in the future, we may be memorised as important figures in China's rise.

For me, the CF has no doubt provided a precious chance to the students from underdeveloped areas to a witness a new world, from which I learned the difference between Chinese and British culture. Although the trip is only four-week time, I was deeply touched.

I am willing to try my best in the future  to devote for hometown’s development, especially the impoverished region, giving those young people who are restricted by poverty, like me, can have more opportunities to see bigger and more beautiful world.
